Alea Milan inaugurated

Alea has a new home in Milan. Ribbon cutting for the new showroom at Via Alessio di Tocqueville 12, next to Corso Como and in the heart of Porta Nuova, a district of design, innovation, fashion, and lifestyle. It is the first monobrand store in Milan, the sixth for Alea after Paris, London, Miami, and New York, in addition to the headquarters in Sarone di Caneva. A 53-year story that began in 1972 now adds a new prestigious chapter. Great satisfaction for siblings Michela, Tiziano, and Paolo Carlot, who lead with vision and planning a company deeply rooted in its territory yet international, with a presence in over 90 markets. Giving shape, every day, to the corporate purpose: “Our vision and passion shape beauty for the future".

The Milan showroom was created to offer an innovative experience of design, branding, and networking. In addition to showcasing products and collections, the space will host activities and events with partner brands as well as new collaborations. International, national, Milanese, and local — from Pordenone and Friuli Venezia Giulia — of which Alea proudly feels like an ambassador. An enhancement of relationships, building systems and community which — alongside eco-design that guides the creation of new furnishings, m|artedesign seating, partitions, and Alea Design & Build projects — is among the key elements of Alea’s “Better” sustainability program, since 2023 a Benefit Corporation.

The new space was designed by French architect Régis Botta, also the “signature” behind the recently opened Paris showroom; by architect Massimo Garavaglia; and by Alea’s R&D team. An important team effort, for which the ownership thanks the entire team, collaborators, professionals, and partner companies. At the ribbon-cutting ceremony, clients, suppliers, and institutions were present, in an evening hosted by Barbara Pedrotti, a well-known face from Rai Uno.
