Levante is the result of the collaboration between m. artedesign and the internationally renowned designer Alessandro Stabile and it was presented for the first time during the Orgatec fair in Cologne.
An elegant and innovative collection of armchairs inspired by nature, in a poetry of shapes that recall the sea, the nautical world and the winds of the Mediterranean.
The idea behind the project
The seat of these armchairs is characterized by a diagonal cut which creates an unprecedented harmony of enveloping surfaces and sharp edges.
The three curves that generate the shape are reminiscent of the sails of a boat inflated by the wind. Hence the name that recalls the wind from the East.
The aesthetics was born as an inevitable consequence of the construction method of the padded version: the seat, composed of only two 2D curved surfaces that are generated by the diagonal curve, favours easy padding and upholstery, limiting moulds and seams.
Our commitment to sustainability
Levante is also the symbol of our commitment to sustainability.
The shell is moulded in 100% recycled post-industrial UV-resistant polypropylene in which the thicknesses have been optimized to use as little plastic as possible, while maintaining all the characteristics of resistance and comfort.
Available in 8 colours
The shell is available in an 8-colour palette inspired by nature in all its shades
Declinable in 7 bases
The seat can be mounted on seven different bases and there is also a version with cushion and fully upholstered.
